Eventually after college, Paul joined the family business. He developed the company’s computer systems, programming a complete material resource planning (MRP) system (the predecessor to ERP) by hand in Dbase IV on a Unix platform. From there he branched out into branding, marketing, advertising, merchandising, licensing, and improving process efficiency in the business, all before age 30.
